Receive Leads from Angi
Connect Angi once, and each new Angi lead lands in your pipeline with its contact and details.
Connect Angi so its new leads arrive in your pipeline without manual entry. You connect Angi on the Integrations page in settings.
Connect Angi
Connecting creates the webhook URL and API key that Angi uses to send leads.
- Open Integrations in settings.
- Find the Angi row under Available.
- Click Connect Angi. The Finish Angi Setup window opens when the connection is created.
The Angi row moves under Connected, and its button reads Finish setup until a lead is imported.
Finish setup with Angi
To finish setup, enter your Angi company ID and send the setup email to Angi.
Warning
Turn off any other Angi lead forwarding first, or leads arrive twice.
- Click Finish setup on the Angi row if the Finish Angi Setup window is closed.
- Enter your Angi company ID in the Angi company ID field. It is called the SPID on your Angi agreement. An empty field keeps the email from opening.
- Check the email address, and click Change to edit it.
- Click Open setup email, then send the message from your email app.
Angi connects the account by hand, so leads start arriving 2 to 3 business days after you send the email. Until a lead is imported, the Angi row shows the Setup incomplete badge and a Finish setup button. Setup details reopens this window, where the Webhook Details card shows the Webhook URL and the API key.
Disconnect Angi
Disconnecting retires the webhook URL and API key that Angi uses to send leads.
Warning
New leads stop arriving as soon as you disconnect. Angi can keep sending until its team turns off the feed on its side, and those deliveries are rejected.
- Open the options menu on the Angi row. It is the button that shows only an icon.
- Click Disconnect.
- In the confirmation window, click Disconnect.
The Angi row moves under Available. Its button reads Connect Angi again while your plan includes leads.
What arrives for each lead
Each Angi lead becomes one lead in your pipeline.
- The lead's email is matched to an existing contact first, then their phone number. A match reuses that contact, and otherwise a new contact is created.
- The lead's full name is split into a first and last name.
- Angi's lead description, comments, and interview answers are saved on the lead.
- A system note on the lead records the Angi lead number, the service request, the lead fee, the match type, the Angi account name, and the consent certificate URL.
- New leads go to the default pipeline, in its new-lead stage (or its first stage if it has none), at the bottom of that stage. If no pipeline is marked as default, the first pipeline in your list is used. To choose the default pipeline, see Customize Pipelines and Stages.
- Without any pipeline, the import fails.
- If a delivery fails, Angi retries it, and a repeated delivery never creates a second lead.
To move an imported lead to another stage, see Move a Lead Through Your Pipeline.
What the Angi row shows
Until a lead is imported, the Angi row shows the Setup incomplete badge and a Finish setup button. After that, the badge goes away, the row shows how many leads were imported and the date of the latest import, and its button reads Setup details. The count includes only imported leads, so deliveries that failed are not counted.
Access and availability
The Angi row appears only when Angi leads are turned on for your organization. Connecting requires a plan that includes leads.
Without a connection, the row shows View plans in place of Connect Angi when your plan does not include it. To change your plan, see Change Your Plan.
Only members with Full access to Settings see Connect Angi, Finish setup, Setup details, and the options menu. Other members see the row's status and lead count. Full access is set in Create and Edit Roles and Permissions.
The API key is shown only to members with Full access. Disconnecting is not limited by your plan. The webhook does not check your plan.
