Track Win Rates and Activity
See which member closes the most leads and follow the latest wins, losses and reopens.
Open Win Rates to compare how each member closes leads created in a period you pick, and Activity to follow wins, losses and reopens over a period. New to leads? Start with Introduction to leads.
Read win rates for a period
Use the Win Rates page to compare members over the period you choose.
- From the leads board, open Win Rates.
- Set the first date field in the page header to the start of the period.
- Set the second date field to the end of the period.
- Check the Win rate, Leads created and Won revenue cards above the table.
Each change reloads the report for the new range, and the table lists each member's leads, wins, losses, win rate and won revenue.
If no leads were created in the period, the page shows an empty message in place of the cards and table.
Clearing the start date sets it to one month before the end date. Clearing the end date sets it to today. Clearing both shows the month up to today.
Note
Periods follow your business's time zone, so a lead created at 11pm on the last day of a period still counts toward that day.
Filter the activity feed
Use the Activity page to follow lead changes over a period and narrow them to the types you need.
- Open Activity, or select Activity on the Win Rates page to open it on the same dates.
- Set the two date fields in the page header to the start and end of the period.
- With no chips selected, click a chip such as Won to show only that type.
- Click another chip to add its type to the filter.
- Click a selected chip to remove its type from the filter.
The feed lists the selected types, or every type when no chip is selected, newest first, up to the latest 200 entries. The header's count covers every matching entry in the period, and the won total covers every win in the period whichever chips are selected.
How win rates are counted
Each count covers leads created in the period you pick, using the status each lead has now. A lead won after the period ends still counts as a win for that period.
Win rate is the share of decided leads that were won. Decided leads are won or lost, and abandoned leads count as lost. Leads still open count toward Leads created but not toward the win rate.
- Leads created counts leads created in the period, credited to their current owner.
- Won revenue adds up the deal value of won leads and leaves out deleted leads.
Win rates are whole percentages. A rate reads 100% only when every decided lead is won, and 0% only when none is. Otherwise it stays between 1% and 99%, so 199 wins and 1 loss shows 99%.
A member with no wins or losses shows a dash instead of a win rate. The Win rate card shows a dash too when no lead in the period has been won or lost.
Members sort by wins, highest first, then by win rate and name. Members who have left appear together in a row labeled Former members, and leads with no owner appear in a row labeled Unassigned. Totals add up every row.
Activity event types
Activity has five event types, shown as chips in this order.
- Abandoned is recorded when a lead's status changes to abandoned.
- Call logged has no entries, because nothing in the app records this type.
- Lost is recorded when a lead's status changes to lost.
- Reopened is recorded when a won, lost or abandoned lead is reopened.
- Won is recorded when a lead's status changes to won. The entry keeps the deal value used at that moment, and only Won entries carry an amount.
Each entry shows the business, the contact, the pipeline and stage, and the person who made the change, with their avatar. Names stay as they were when the entry was recorded. Deleted entries are hidden.
Limits and access
Both pages require permission to view the lead pipeline. See Roles and permissions for who has it.
Both pages need the client and lead features turned on. If either is off, Win Rates does not open, and Activity shows a prompt in place of the feed.
A period can cover up to 730 days. If the start date falls after the end date, the two dates swap.
Activity uses the same period rules as Win Rates. With no dates chosen, both open on the same default period.
