Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
Click Wise Design LLC, doing business as JobWise Pro ("JobWise Pro," "we," "us," or "our"), provides business operations software and related services through our website, web application, and associated platforms (collectively, the "Services").
Questions about this Policy may be directed to us at the contact information provided in Section 14.
2. Scope and Applicability
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect in connection with the Services from visitors, account holders, business customers and their authorized users, prospective customers, and others who interact with us.
This Policy does not apply to the practices of third-party services that are not under our ownership or control. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use in connection with JobWise Pro.
3. Our Role as a Business Platform
JobWise Pro is a business software platform. When our users enter or upload information about their own customers, leads, employees, or other third parties, the business or account owner using JobWise Pro is the data controller for that information and is solely responsible for its lawful collection and use.
If you are an end customer of a business that uses JobWise Pro, please contact that business directly regarding your personal information. We will assist as legally required, but our obligations run primarily to our account holders.
4. Information We Collect
Information you provide. We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, authentication credentials, and any information you or your authorized users choose to enter, upload, or submit through the Services. The nature and scope of this information depends entirely on how you use the platform.
Information collected automatically. When you use our website or Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical and usage information, including browser and device information, activity data such as pages viewed, clicks, and feature usage, as well as logs, diagnostics, and error-related information. Our error monitoring provider, Sentry, may capture additional technical context associated with application errors or performance issues, which can include information such as URLs, request metadata, user identifiers, and in some cases portions of application state or input data present at the time of an error. We use this information solely for platform monitoring, debugging, and improvement purposes. We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to support authentication, security, analytics, and platform functionality.
Payment information. Payment features are processed through our third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers or security codes. We may receive limited payment-related data, such as payment status and truncated card identifiers, solely to enable payment-related features within the platform.
Connected account information. If you connect a third-party account to JobWise Pro, such as a Google or QuickBooks account, we receive that account's identity and the data covered by the permissions you granted, so the feature you connected it for can work. Google account data is described in detail in Section 8.
Mobile information. When you provide a mobile phone number, we use it to send you account, service, and, where you have consented, promotional text messages from JobWise Pro, and to enable calling and texting features. We do not sell or share mobile opt-in information, your phone number, or your consent to be contacted with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP; see our Terms of Service for full messaging terms.
Business messaging registration. If you enable business text messaging, we collect your business identity information, including your legal business name, business address, an authorized representative's contact details, and your business tax identification number (EIN), solely to register your messaging brand and campaign with our messaging provider (Twilio) and The Campaign Registry, as required by U.S. carriers for A2P 10DLC compliance. Your EIN is transmitted to Twilio for this verification and is not retained by us; we store only the resulting registration identifiers and status. If a resubmission is needed, you re-enter this information.
5. How We Use Information
We use personal information to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services; to authenticate users and manage accounts; to process and store data entered by users so the platform functions as intended; to analyze usage patterns and develop new features; to detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access; to fulfill legal obligations; to enforce our agreements; and for other purposes consistent with the context in which information was provided.
We reserve the right to use aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information derived from the Services for any lawful business purpose, including analytics, benchmarking, and product development, without restriction.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share personal information with:
- Service providers that assist us in operating the Services. Our current core service providers
include:
- Cloudflare: network infrastructure, security, and performance services
- Supabase: database, authentication, and file storage
- Sentry: application monitoring, error tracking, and diagnostics
- Stripe: payment processing and related account functionality
- Resend: transactional email delivery
- Twilio: business calling and texting, and A2P 10DLC brand/campaign registration with The Campaign Registry. Where you enable business texting, your business identity and tax ID (EIN) are transmitted to Twilio for registration and are not retained by us (see Section 4).
These providers are permitted to use your information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf. We may update our service providers from time to time; material changes will be reflected in an updated version of this Policy.
- Legal and regulatory authorities when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental or court order.
- Parties involved in a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, to the extent permitted by law.
- Other parties when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of JobWise Pro, our users, or the public; to investigate potential violations of our terms; or to prevent fraud or illegal activity.
7. Payments
Payment features within JobWise Pro are facilitated through Stripe, Inc. To use payment functionality, you will be required to create or connect your own Stripe account directly with Stripe. In this arrangement, you contract with Stripe independently, and Stripe's own terms of service and privacy policy govern their collection and use of your information.
JobWise Pro does not receive or store full payment card numbers, card security codes, or other sensitive payment method details. We may receive limited data from Stripe, such as payment status, connected account status, and the last four digits of a payment card, solely to enable payment-related features to function within the platform.
Because you interact with Stripe directly as a connected account holder, you should review Stripe's privacy policy and terms carefully. JobWise Pro is not responsible for Stripe's data practices.
8. Google Account Data
Some JobWise Pro features work by connecting a Google account you control. You start the connection yourself from Settings, Google's own consent screen shows which permissions are being requested, and we access nothing until you approve it. This section describes what Google user data we access, how we use it, how we store, protect, and share it, and how you can turn that access off. It applies in addition to the rest of this Policy.
What we access. Only the data covered by the permissions you grant:
- Your Google account identity (openid, email, and profile scopes): the account's Google user identifier and email address. We use these to label the connected account in the interface and to tell several connected Google accounts apart.
- Google Business Profile (business.manage scope), used by the Reviews feature and by business performance reporting: the Business Profile accounts and locations your Google account can manage, including location name, address, and coordinates; the reviews on the locations you choose to connect, including the star rating, review text, review dates, the reviewer's display name and profile photo as Google publishes them, and any existing owner reply; and daily interaction counts for those locations, such as calls, website clicks, direction requests, bookings, and messages. This permission also allows writes, which we use only to publish, update, or remove a reply that you write or delete in JobWise Pro.
- Google Analytics (analytics.readonly scope), used only if you turn on website analytics: the Analytics properties your account can read, and aggregated daily website metrics for the property you select, such as sessions, new users, page views, traffic sources, form submissions, and phone-number clicks. This access is read-only, and we do not retrieve data about individual website visitors.
Each feature's permissions are requested separately, at the point you enable that feature, so an account connected only for reviews is never asked for analytics access. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or Google Contacts.
How we use it. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the features you connected the account for: showing your Business Profile reviews, ratings, dates, and reviewer names in your JobWise Pro dashboard; publishing back to Google the replies you write; keeping review and performance history so you can see trends over time; and linking a new review to one of your contacts, which compares the reviewer's display name against your contact list and checks whether that contact clicked the review request you sent them. We also use it to keep the connection itself working, such as refreshing an expired token or telling you that a grant needs to be renewed. We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, credit or lending decisions, or any purpose unrelated to the features described here.
Reviews you choose to publish. If you add the reviews widget to your own website, the reviewer display name, star rating, review text, and review date of the reviews you select are displayed publicly on that website. This is the same information Google already publishes on your listing. Reviewer profile photos are not included in the widget.
How we share it. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not transfer it to data brokers, information resellers, or advertising networks. It is stored and processed by the infrastructure providers listed in Section 6 (Cloudflare, Supabase, and Sentry), which act only on our behalf; it is visible within your organization to your authorized users according to their permissions; it may be published by you as described above; and it may be disclosed where legally required, as described in Section 6. We do not transfer Google user data to any third party for a purpose other than providing or improving the features described here.
Artificial intelligence and machine learning. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
How we protect it. Access and refresh tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption before they are written to our database, and the encryption key is held outside the database in server-side configuration, so only our servers can decrypt them. Plaintext tokens are never sent to your browser. Synced reviews and metrics are scoped to your organization and readable only by its authorized members. The safeguards in Section 11 apply to all of this data.
Retention, deletion, and revoking access. You can disconnect a Google account at any time from Settings, under Integrations. Disconnecting stops all further access immediately, deletes the stored access and refresh tokens for that account, and ends syncing for its locations. Reviews, replies, and metrics already synced remain in your JobWise Pro account as your own business records until you delete them, which you can do per location once that location's syncing is switched off; deleted records are removed from your dashboard, reporting, and any public widget, and are then retained only as described in Section 9. You can also review or remove JobWise Pro's access directly from your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Limited Use. JobWise Pro's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, or as required or permitted by applicable law. We may retain information for additional periods to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, prevent abuse, or protect the security and integrity of the Services.
When a user deletes data within the platform, that data is typically removed from active systems within approximately 30 days. However, residual copies may remain in encrypted backups or system logs for a longer period before being fully purged as part of our standard backup rotation. We do not guarantee that deleted data can be restored. We may retain certain information beyond these periods where required by law or for the other purposes described above.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain data. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, correct, and delete personal information, and the right to opt out of certain sales or sharing of personal information.
To submit a privacy request, contact us using the information in Section 14. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may verify your identity before processing a request and may deny requests that are unfounded, excessive, or not required under applicable law.
We are not obligated to comply with requests relating to information that we are required to retain by law, that is necessary to complete a transaction, or that is subject to other legal exemptions.
11. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or stored within the Services. Your use of the Services is at your own risk with respect to security incidents beyond our reasonable control.
12. International Processing
JobWise Pro and its service providers operate globally. Personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your own. By using the Services, you consent to such transfers and processing.
13. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time and at our sole discretion. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We may, but are not obligated to, provide additional notice of material changes. Your continued use of the Services after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
