Website Analytics shows how many people visit your website, how many call or fill out your contact form, and where visitors came from. The numbers come from Google Analytics.
Connect Google Analytics
Until a website is connected, the page shows no numbers. Only one website can be connected at a time.
- Open Website Analytics.
- Click Go to settings.
- Only users with full Analytics access see this button.
- On the Analytics Settings page, click Connect Google. If a Google account is already connected, skip to step 5.
- Approve analytics access on Google's sign-in screen.
- With one Google account, click the button in the Website row. With more than one, click Choose a website beside the account.
- If an account shows Reconnect, click it and repeat step 4.
- If the website list does not load, click Reconnect it.
- Click Use beside the website you want.
- With more than eight websites, a Filter websites box appears above the list.
The panel stays open while the first update runs, then closes. The first update loads up to 12 months of visits, and the Website row shows the website you picked.
Warning
Choosing a different website replaces the one connected now.

Print the report
Each report covers one Business Profile location and the range you picked. The numbers on the page cover the whole website, not one location.
- Open Website Analytics.
- Choose the range in the page header: 30 days, 90 days, or 12 months.
- Click Print report.
- With one Business Profile location, the report opens for that location.
- With more than one, click the location you want in the list that opens.
What each card counts
- Times people reached out: phone clicks and contact form submissions added together.
- Visits: visits to your website in the range.
- First-time visitors: visitors Google Analytics counts as new in the range.
- How Visitors Reached Out: Clicked your phone number and Filled out your contact form count toward Times people reached out. Viewed your contact page appears in a muted row and does not count.
- Where Visitors Came From: four sources, Search engines, Typed your web address, Social media, and Links on other websites, largest first. Each share is out of those four sources only.
- Visits Over Time: visits for each day, or for each week on the 12-month range.
A call or form submission counts only when your website reports it to Google Analytics in a form this page recognizes.
When the numbers update
- The website updates once a day, at 2:00 AM in the time zone set for it in Google Analytics.
- Each update pulls a few days before the last successful update again, so days Google was still revising get counted.
- The page reads stored daily totals, so new visits appear after the next update.
- If the first update fails, the next daily update tries again.
Who can use the page
- Viewing this page requires view access to Analytics.
- Connecting Google and choosing a website require full Analytics access.
- Print report is hidden for limited-access roles, such as Office Staff and Sales. It is also hidden until a Business Profile location is switched on under Manage locations.
