Questions sports field maintenance companies ask
A commercial turf guide puts overseeding at $1,700 to $7,800 an acre, dethatching at $440 to $1,300 and fertilizing at $220 to $440; a striping contractor lists repaints at $250 to $350 (price table).
Not by the visit. The tool prices the ground a grounds manager outlines, once, not a season of weekly cuts, so quote mowing by hand. Overseeding, dethatching and fertilizing price by area, per square foot or per acre, and line painting is a flat extra.
