Nobody walks the yard with a wheel. The homeowner does the measuring, and you get their name before they draw a single corner.

Sod leads that arrive already measured
Each finished quote lands in the tool's own request list with the outline, the variety and the square footage, and a copy goes to your inbox. The lead board picks it up from there.
Questions sod companies ask
Most crews charge $1 to $2 a square foot on bare, level dirt and $1.50 to $4 when an old lawn has to come out first, per the price table. Set a rate per variety, then add removal and regrading as per-square-foot add-ons so the customer's choices set the total.
The homeowner outlines each patch on a satellite image of their property and the tool adds up the square footage. It is recalculated on our side from the shape they drew, so a typed number can never shrink the yard.
Add each one as its own item with its own rate: St. Augustine, Bermuda, Zoysia, fescue or a blend. The customer can pick more than one and outline where each goes, so a shady side yard can take a different grass from the front.
Set a job minimum. When the grass and add-ons come to less, the quote shows the minimum instead, which covers the truck roll and the pallet delivery on a small patch job.
