Quote the work, get it approved, send the invoice

Build a priced quote, send the customer a private link, and convert what they accept into an invoice.

Quote to Invoice

One quote carries the work from a price to an invoice

The invoice copies what the customer already approved, so nothing gets retyped.

  1. 01 Build a Quote

Price the work on a page that saves itself

Pick the customer, add a line for each thing you charge for, set the prices. The editor saves a second after you stop typing.

  2. 02 Send and Track

Email the quote and see when it gets opened

One click emails the customer a private link to their copy. The list shows whether they have opened it yet.

  3. 03 Customer Approval

Customers accept or decline on their own page

The link opens on any phone, with no login. One setting decides whether approval needs a typed name and a drawn signature.

  4. 04 Convert to Invoice

One click turns an accepted quote into an invoice

The invoice carries the customer, every line, the notes and the terms. It reaches the customer on the same click.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Yes. Every quote you send carries a private link to a page where the customer accepts or declines it. The page opens with no login, and only the exact link you sent works.

That is your choice, in quote settings. With the signature requirement on, the customer types a name and draws a signature before the approval records. With it off, the approval records on one click. Declining takes no signature either way.

Yes. The quote reads as not viewed yet until the customer opens the link, then shows how long ago they last viewed it. Visits by members of your own organization are left out, so you can open the link yourself to check it.

Choose convert to invoice, either in the quote's row or on the quote's own page. The invoice copies the customer, every line, the notes and the terms, and reaches the customer on the same click. Converting needs a connected Stripe account, and one quote makes one invoice.

No. Once a quote is accepted, its line items, total, valid until date and terms are locked. Before that you can edit a sent quote and save and send the update, which puts the new figures at the same link the customer already has.

Set a valid until date on the quote, or leave it empty when the quote does not expire. The date shows on the customer's copy and in your quote list. A customer can still accept after it passes, and the date becomes the due date if the quote converts to an invoice.
