Text and call customers from one business number

One business number handles your texts and calls, with every conversation filed next to the contact who sent it.

How It Works

One number, and a record of everyone who used it

From the first text to the call you missed while you were on a roof.

  1. 01 One Inbox

Every text lands next to the customer

Texts arrive as threads you can pin, mute, or assign to a teammate. A number already in your contacts shows their name on the first text.

  2. 02 Texting Approval

Carriers approve your business once, then texting is on

You fill out a five-step registration in JobWise. Texting switches on by itself the moment your business is approved.

  3. 03 Missed Call Text

A missed call texts back on its own

Turn it on and an unanswered call from someone new gets a text back. It carries your booking page, your instant quote link, and any links you add.

  4. 04 Call History

See every call, and whose it was

Each call records its direction, length, who handled it, and any voicemail. The caller's contact and their open lead sit right there, so you do not start a duplicate.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Yes. One business number sends and receives both, so customers text and call the same number they always have. Texts open as threads in your inbox, where you reply, pin the ones you are watching, mute the noisy ones, or hand a thread to a teammate. Calls land in the same section with their own history.

US carriers require every business to register before it can send texts, so JobWise walks you through it before your first message. The form is five steps: your business details, your address, a contact person, how you plan to message customers, and a review. Carrier review usually takes a few weeks. Texting turns on automatically once you are approved, with no second setup.

The call is logged either way, with the caller, the time, and how long it rang. A voicemail is saved with the call, so you can play the recording back from the history. If the caller is not one of your contacts, the automatic text goes out with your booking page and your instant quote link, which lets a first-time caller book while you are still on the ladder.

Yes. You dial from JobWise in your browser, and your business number is what shows on the customer's phone, not your cell. The call is written to the same history as calls that come in, so a teammate opening that contact later sees it.

By phone number, automatically. A text or call from a number on one of your contacts shows that person's name and links to their record, even if nobody ever connected the thread by hand. If that contact already has an open lead, the call shows it, so you open the lead you have instead of starting a second one.

Every text you send carries a line telling the customer to reply STOP to opt out, added for you if you did not write one. A number that has opted out is skipped from then on, including the missed-call text back, so one refusal holds across every message your business sends.
